Congratulations on your registration. The first step toward re-learning life without cigarettes is to set your quit date. So to help you pick the big day, here are a few things to keep in mind.

  • Don't pick tomorrow – you need to prepare for your quit (EX will help you do it). So give yourself a little time to get ready.
  • Don't set your date too far off in the future – too much time means too many chances to change your mind. We recommend a day that’s about a month away.
  • Choose a day that doesn’t have built-in problems – some people pick a special day like a birthday, but celebrations can be a smoking trigger. Big vacation or a holiday coming up? Wait until after it, so you can quit on a day that resembles regular life.
