  • "What’s better than it is now?"

On tough days or in those moments when you need to re-focus and re-energize your commitment, thinking about your vision for a tobacco-free future can help. Think of this vision like your personal map: knowing where you want to end up can be a great motivator if you’re wondering if you have the stamina to keep going.

Seeing yourself as an ex-smoker, vaper, dipper or chewer can also be a powerful reminder of why you want to quit.

  • When I see myself after quitting, I see someone who has conquered a huge challenge. I see someone strong and happy who has found a new way to live.

    I breathe better. I move more easily. I play with my dog a lot more. I am saving money and I spend time on new hobbies. Food tastes better and I’m making healthy meals for myself and my family.

    I am proud of myself. I’m thankful for the extra time I have to spend with my family and friends because I quit.
