EX is a website run by Truth Initiative Foundation doing business as Truth Initiative (“Truth Initiative”). EX helps people in the U.S. to quit tobacco. We respect your privacy. This policy is about the information we collect and how we use it. If you have questions about this policy, please contact us.
General User Information
EX automatically collects certain data about users to make sure we deliver the best possible program. This includes things like a user’s Internet browser, operating system, and the date and time of each visit. We only use this information in the aggregate for our own research and to improve EX. We share this data only with our vendors, who use it for the same purposes. Some people use EX through their employer, health plan, or other sponsor (“Sponsor”). In that case, we may share aggregated, de-identified data about use of EX with a Sponsor.
We will protect any personal information we receive from a Sponsor according to federal privacy laws and as required by the Sponsor. Please review any Sponsor privacy notices related to your use of EX. Such notices may include rights and choices you may have about your personal information.
We may use or share your information as the Sponsor and the law allows. We will work with Sponsors to protect the privacy and security of your information. We will also report to a Sponsor any unauthorized sharing of your information.
